File tools that don't upload your files
Most online file tools upload your document to a server to process it. Many FileBee tools don't — they run entirely in your browser, so your file never leaves your device.
How in-browser tools work
When a tool is marked as in-browser, all the processing happens in your device's own web browser using WebAssembly. Your file is read locally, transformed locally, and the result is handed straight back to you as a download. Nothing is sent over the internet — you could even switch off your Wi-Fi after the page loads and it would still work.
That means: no upload waiting, instant results on big files, and genuine privacy for sensitive documents like contracts, IDs, and financial statements.
What about the tools that do use a server?
Some tools (OCR, background removal, format conversions that need heavy engines) run on our servers because they can't run in a browser. For those, your file is deleted automatically within 2 hours, and we never open, read, mine, or share your content.
